After two years of explosive liveshows from Brest to Detroit USA, passing thru Sofia and Vilnius, Peter Digital comes back with a fresh new ep more inspired this time by "wonky" and "bass" music.
His Funk gets louder and less disco but still bumpy and breaky.
Someones will say he's a wanker, but this french mustache & greased hair "dandy" just don't stop to surprise the crowd with his ego trip character, and awesome tracks like "Juicy Lady" or "Jeux de Langues", riding like a horse his MPC!
He's not a dj, he's a poducer, and you know why he's really good? Because he loves, as the crowd love it, to play real time all his tracks, freestylin on bass, beats, synths. He's a real musician and a real showman.
His new "LOCAL HERO" EP on Eklektik Records is already playlisted by Kid606,
Busy P, Dj Pone from Birdy Nam Nam and will wake up for sure the french electo scene, that this days seems to get less and less curious.
Pay attention, because Juicy Lady EP was just an openning to a great saga which will grow up and grow up.
Get set to welcome your "LOCAL HERO" as he deserves it.

PICADILLY RECORDS : 'LOCAL HERO' RECORD OF THE WEEK! (January 2010)
Peter Digital Orchestra aka Fulgeance is back! After two years of explosive live shows Peter Digital delivers a fresh new EP. If you're only expecting cuts with a wonky and bass-music tint, think again, as this six tracker has 80s electro-pop influences in the mix as well. Opening cut "Born In 1980" is a perfect case in point, sounding like Justice reworking Depeche Mode. Hitting the electro spot is "Red & White", which bumps into slamming acid electro (old school style) cut "Bubblegirl". "Jeux De Langues" has this moustachiod and greased-haired dandy riding his MPC like a horse! Giddy-up! "Banging Booties" is one for the Italo electrohouse brigade, while "Rebond" closes the EP with nuff fidget energy to power the national grid. Already playlisted by Kid606, Busy P, and DJ Pone from Birdy Nam Nam - make sure you stick it on your wants list!

ATM MAGAZINE Review (January 2010)
Peter Digital Orchestra ‘Local Hero’ (Eklektik records)
Peter Digital Orchestra is an alias of moustached-French MPC don Fulgeance, who’s own ‘Low Club’ style of production has been making people sweat for a while now, and rightfully so. PDO diverges slightly from the Fulgeance output with a brighter, some might say cheesier, take on what a friend once described as ‘chopped and screwed house’. ‘Local Hero’ serves up 6 tracks, each as energetic as the next and full of addictive, catchy melodies, headnodding drum patterns and thumping bass. It’s hard to make justice to the sound, and its effect on your body, with simple words but think of it as Jean Michel Jarre on ectasy for the beat generation. And that’s just scrapping the surface.

LOWRIDERS COLLECTIVE
PETER DIGITAL ORCHESTRA 'Local Hero' (January 2010)
Peter Digital Orchestra is the clubby out fit of Fulgeance. In this slick fluorestic costume he is a party animal pure sang: here to please you with smooth quirky sounds to which you smile, dance and party all night long! The sound is somewhere between disco and electro, cheesy but never boring. Full of 8 bit wonders, arcade fires, hand claps and hisses and easy bass synths. Pure dance floor fun. Born in 1980 is this pure electro-funk track with its over-the-top synth build-up. With titles like Bubblegirl you can only feel happy. Red & White and Jeux de Langues are put on this especially for peops like me who also want a bit phat bass so Peter Digital makes also REAL bass tracks with a heavy nod and a too corny chorus, I love it! Would fit perfectly in a wonky set. Banging Booties seems to find his inspiration in Motor (Sebastian) but then it shifts into a disco slammer from the future with the hand on the pitch so it becomes a totally immediate banger! Out on Eklektik.

STEREOTREE (January 2010)

Red and white's lush - really nice slow chugger. Very nice indeed. Def playing this. Banging Booties is a shocker - liked it up until the sample comes in and it instantly sounds like some bad big beat record. Could play it up until then tho... thanks, more like red and white please.
